the heart behind the work

Meet Desiree

I am a writer, storyteller, life coach, and emerging therapist who believes in the power of truth — the kind that heals, the kind that frees, the kind that rebuilds what life tried to burn down. My work lives at the intersection of fire and becoming, where memory, lineage, and resilience meet.

My memoir honors the people who shaped me, the girl I once was, and the woman I continue to grow into. Whether on the page, in coaching sessions, or in the therapy room, I hold space for transformation — the quiet kind, the messy kind, the sacred kind.

As a life coach, I help people reconnect with their power, rewrite the narratives that no longer serve them, and step into the lives they’ve been afraid to claim. My approach blends clarity, compassion, and accountability, meeting people exactly where they are while guiding them toward where they want to be.

I am currently completing my graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, preparing to serve individuals and families with warmth, depth, and intention. My creative, coaching, and clinical worlds inform each other: all rooted in listening deeply, telling the truth, and helping people find their way back to themselves.

At my core, I am a woman committed to healing — my own, my daughter’s legacy, and the communities I come from. Everything I create, from my memoir to my coaching to my future practice, is an offering of fire, ash, honey, and hope.

What Makes My Services Different
